Sea buckthorn and apple sauce
Delicious to go alongside your Sunday roast.

Ingredients:
- 50g sea buckthorn berries
- 2 apples
- 2 tsp water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Method
- Juice the sea buckthorn berries by passing through a blender, then pass through a sieve to remove seeds and skin.
- chop the apples finely
- Put the apples, water and sugar in a pan over a moderate heat
- Heat mixture until apples are falling apart but leave some chunks.
- Add the sea buckthorn juice
- Add a pinch of salt.
- Season further to taste.
